About Melissa, licensed professional counselor
Ready to take charge of your life again?
In-person in Roswell & online in Georgia
let me be the first to tell you:
You’re not broken.
Life already seems to chaotically spin, and it’s magnified when faced with medical, life, and/or relationship challenges. You may have lost your wind, your voice, your sense of identity and desperately want to someone to listen to you.
There is hope. I can be an ally, someone to cheer you on, while also holding you accountable, as you navigate you way towards living a more balanced life.
How I work
Therapy is what you make it.
I strive to provide a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.
In sessions with me, we work together and find a holistic, balanced approach that works for you.
l’ll encourage you to notice what you're thinking, feeling, and body sensations you may be experiencing as I believe they're connected.
Besides talk therapy, I facilitate brainspotting, offer trauma-conscious (gentle) yoga, and provide walk and talk nature-based therapy sessions.
Therapy with me is —
-
You’ll be given many resources and ideas to try. You drive your willingness to try them.
-
We’ll work together throughout your therapeutic journey.
-
We’ll modify to use what’s working well and cut what isn’t working for you.
-
I don’t use AI to record our sessions. Your privacy is important to me.
